Ottawa Tulip Festival 2011

Spent Victoria Day Weekend in Ottawa. Caught the tail end of the Tulip Festival. These tulips are sent to Canada from Holland to commemorate the role the Canadian Army played in the liberation of the Netherlands during WWII.
Washington DC 2011

Took a quick little weekend trip to Washington DC. Basically just for something to do and to try out my new camera (a Sony a33 DSLR) that I got for Christmas. It was cold!!! So I wasn’t able to take huge amounts of time getting the perfect shots! Lots of walking thats for sure! …. check out the album …over 200 shots!
